Web Designer - Job Code 1503
We are seeking an outstanding web designer to play a
key role within the marketing team. The designer will work
closely with the team to develop and maintain best-of-class web
programs and promotions. The successful candidate will thrive in
a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
TECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Three-plus
years experience in HTML/CSS design for consumer-oriented
websites, agency preferred.

Expert coding
ability in HTML/DHTML, CSS (Dreamweaver or hand-coding ok)

Expert
proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, proficiency in
Powerpoint
-
Proficient
with Flash
-
A passion for
MySpace - we strongly prefer candidates with an active interest
in the site and/or social networking/dating/lifestyle sites in
general
-
Ability to
thrive in fast-paced, dynamic work environment demanding rapid
turn around and frequent change in direction

Detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational and project
management skills

Strong
communication skills, both verbal and written

High energy,
yet level-headed personality with a ‘can-do’ attitude
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Work with
HTML/DHTML, CSS and Flash to design and best in class social
networking applications and sties

Interact with
cross-functional teams to confirm that all build requirements
are met, including tech, tracking, sales and ad operations

Manage/train
junior-level designer
-
Manage
external design resources when necessary
